Article: Business-Opportunity-Enlightenment

With all the confusion and demands on our time it is no wonder that many people are moving more and more online, looking for that perfect business opportunity. The problem is that the Concrete Jungle is fairly tame compared to the cyber world of business.
If you know the rules of the hunt you will be successful, and if you don’t know how to be the hunter you will be the prey of any and every other person out there trying to make that quick buck.
There are many legitimate business opportunities out there and sometimes it is hard to know where to start because of the wealth of information that you have to weed through to find what is right for you, the kind of time you wish to put in, the skills you are willing to learn and wether you want to put any capital into it, if so how much.
There are a number of styles of business opportunities, and then there are variations that overlap into them.
The different styles that I have come across are Affiliate Marketing, MLM Marketing, Adsense and then there is promoting your own products or sites. So far from my experience all the business opportunities on the net fall into some variation of these types, obviously there are many variations in these but there are some consistent similarities, although the methods may vary they all need traffic. If you never have a customer come into your shop or visit your site how do you expect to ever make a sale, this is probably the main quest for any online business and it is not as simple as the Concrete Jungle because the rules are a little different and there are new rules to learn.
The first online business opportunity, owning and promoting your own product requires quite a bit of effort to get started in the set-up and product development, then you probably have your site to set up as well so that you can promote it. Loads of effort. On the plus side you get to keep all the profit, but if you chose this path I’m sure you would want to take it to the next logical step and get a team marketing it for you as affiliates, then you would get 100% of your efforts and a percentage of their efforts as well, WIN WIN.
The second method if you don’t want to develop your own products is you could be one of those affiliates just mentioned, there is a number of sites that are free to join where you can sign up and there are already products that you can promote.
The third method is MLM, this is a controversial business, some love it some hate it, but when it comes down to it, it is very similar to being an affiliate, but you then get to put affiliates under you. So you get the best of both worlds without the product development. You get to be at the top of the totem pole and the bottom as well.
Finally there is adsense which is owned by google, there are others around but googles adsense is the most well known, for this you need to have some kind of site of your own and you put ads on it owned by google and if people click on these you get paid, the amount vary’s depending on the ad. Many don’t make a lot of money from this, it is more like a side income on a web page that has another purpose, but there are many that make a full time income from this all by itself.
If you look over the internet you will also come across many other ways to earn money, such as different investment strategies in which many call these businesses as well.
There is a wealth of information and opportunities to earn money online, it takes effort to find what you want and then it takes effort to run a business.
