Online banking now days is very popoular and logging
into an account and doing a transaction is no harder
than logging into an email account but the question still
remains "America is you online banking safe?"
Lets take a look at one instance where your average american
logs into his online banking bank but is not aware of the following.
we will just take an example and name him Joe Soap :
Joe was surfing online a few days ago and came to a site that instantly
executed a TROJAN into his computer as interent explorer has this vulnerability
and cannot stop this execution.
Joe sees this happen however he cannot do anything about it and it happens
awfully quick, now unless joe nows how to effectively delete this file, it will
remain on his computer and log every key he types on his keyboard.
Think of it as a little alien residing on your computer and sending all the
keys you type back to it's mother ship who then analysis the data and then
uses it to gain access to your online banking details and any other password
protected site that you may enter whilst the TROJAN is recording all your information.

taken the necessasry precautions to secure transactions from your side ( not the bank)

from their side but the equation is different on your side.
