What a wonderful, thrilling, frustrating game. A game that will capture and hold onto people for the rest of their lives. A game where one good shot out of over a hundred can bring the duffer back. The thrill of your first birdie; the pride in your first eagle; the utter jubilation of your first ace. Some of us never reach any of these plateaus, but we sure try to. It is a game played among friends, or with your spouse. It is a part of business culture in many places, and without at least adequate skills, it can be embarrasing.
